PRESS RELEASE

A Creative Adventure Studio founded by former blockchain and beauty industry executives opens on the Nicoya Peninsula.

A "fourth space" by a team with 30+ years of experience and professional history with Métier Creative, Metallicus, Yas Marina Circuit, Huda Beauty, Time Out and wagamama…

San José, Costa Rica, rainyseason.cr, a Creative Adventure Studio posted on the Nicoya Peninsula, in the Guanacaste province of Costa Rica, has officially exited stealth mode. Operated by former executives Tamara H and Will C, the office offers a collective thirty years of expertise across digital and physical product development, creative direction, event production and public relations, with a focused skillset developed in the blockchain, beauty wellness, sport, and hospitality industries.

The multi-disciplinary fourth space operates as a web3 development workshop, offering services to equip individuals and businesses with bespoke blockchain and AI tools, a live-streaming studio for creative broadcasting, and a home-away-from-home for artists, clients and residents of rainyseason.cr.

The physical 45 m² office, a ten minute walk from the beach, remains in development, while rainyseason.cr and founding infrastructure partners prepare for the launch of its creative programming later in the year. Access to the office is gated with five tokenised access cards, each carrying a distinct level of access to the digital and physical offices.

During stealth mode, the team prototyped [RESIDENCE], a pro-bono service for eligible Costa Rican nationals, partnering with a local master of pottery, and master of surfboard shaping, to build, document, and tokenise the office ideation table, and a community surfboard, as part of an ongoing initiative by the office to build decentralized ownership, provenance, and authorship records of human creativity. All art and furniture commissioned by rainyseason.cr is 1 of 1 and minted on-chain, enabling the artist to receive automated lifetime royalties on the re-sale of their work.

The digital office, accessible at rainyseason.cr, will remain in invite-only beta, while founding artists, clients, and our friends and family contribute to its ongoing development. All creative work published by contributors is digitally anonymous. Discourse around it is reserved for the office, where phones are not permitted.
